You Guys need to get your facts straight, read a book,do your research
before you give out false information that you have probably heard from
someone else that also thought they knew what they were talking about.
EDUCATE yourself and please don’t give out anymore false info. Someone
might actually believe you and pass it on like you have, and that’s how it
    starts.Thank-you!?

  • Mrs. Nicholas Megalis.:

I hate that people think that I am getting high from my methadone. Sure
some ppl take advantage of the program and lie about their stabilization in
order to get their dose increased. Be on a large dose makes ppl drowsy and
could be lethal if not taken properly under Dr care. I have an excellent
team of professionals With them and with my willingness to get better, the
program is working for me Once i was stabilized I stayed at the same dose
for 3 mons and now on a slow taper. I feel great.

  • witchcerridwen:

@skybubbles97 i totally totally agree.i was in therapy and one of the guys
told the other ppl in the group that ppl get high on methadon.i was the
only one doing symoron tablets and so he got them all against me.boy did
our therapist kick his arse.because all the others were alcoholics and
didnt have a clue what methadon was and yet they listen to this man that
pretends to be more knowing than a doctor.i am still on symoron but see it
    as medication thats it.

  • P Fletch:

    They shouldnt be so condescending.

  • angelo212:

It does not get into your bone marrow. Why is that myth repeated so much?

  • P Fletch:

440 mls would kill ME and I been on 65 mls for almost 2 yrs. That guy is
    wrong.

  • canadalady:

Your videos are so incredibly insulting . Whatever you think your agenda is
it’s lost in your delivery. Your questions to interviewees put them in a
poor light and discredit their experiences.

  • Howard Beatbox Rowley:

    Definitely worse than heroin!

  • witchcerridwen:

it is harder to get off of methadon because it is chemical and stays longer
in your body so its also harder to get rid of.but its not impossible.it
doesnt take away the lust for heroin or cocaine.dont let them fool you
    about that.

  • Mrs. Nicholas Megalis.:

@skybubbles97 that was my mom, not me. O.O im only 13.

  • honeymclean:

If addicts were to pay for the methadone you can be sure not many will want
to stay on it for long,as in the UK 99.9% of addicts get it for free they
don’t want to give it up as its always there for when there is a dry up or
the addict is too skint to score, its a great drug to come away from smack
    but far to abused.

  • P Fletch:

I do know of at least one person who is on way too high of a dose and is
constantly jacked up in the air about twenty minutes after his ingestion.
He is also extremely miserable and moody when he takes too much and he
often does . A classic example of an addict who isnt getting the message
and doesnt want to be clean.

  • Louise Mollot-Dicicco:

have you used round the clock magnesium/calcium?gives back the minerals to
nerves that drug took out-it relaxed so LESS CRAVINGS-hope u do well-keep
    on-no withdrawal cramps-b/c magnesium RELAXESmuscles-a study used
magnesium/calcium-to stop suicidal compulsion IN ONE WEEK-patients felt
relief-happier-is there interest among your friends for this type of
nutrition project?also mag/calc will help even when using-especially cures
constipation-it takes the drug poison out of the body-dont give up

  • P Fletch:

I know pple who got off it & easier 4some than others.I found the longer u
r on it,more likely they are 2 screw around w their daily dose.My nephew
went on 45 mils, weaned down& jumped off when it was right for him at
5mls.Opiates left him w depression thats almost beyond belief. I think we
screw up our dopamine &seratonin levels so bad with opiates that it takes
yrs 4 feel good chemistry 2 come back. Could explain the relapses pple
have.I tested positive for 9 days in my urine after 1 dose

  • P Fletch:

It WAS organised , Paul. Methadone. To each their own but people should not
push it and I do know of people who come off it IF they dont stay on it for
more than a few wks and a small dose but very rarely does anyone get off
it. Sad fact. Worse withdrals than Heroin.

  • P Fletch:

Magnesium sulphate is used to stop premature labour so if it can control
contracting baby-mama muscles, it should do well for this too. Good one.

  • P Fletch:

Indeed. As a lifelong registered nurse, now retired, but a methadone client
myself, I can assure you, that is definately bullshit. People get sore and
achy. There are some unusually coincidental symptoms that should be
mentioned and studied but no definitive truth or proof to the bone marrow
thing, teeth rot and skin conditions. As with any medication, all meds are
a little different with all pts and some people tolerate better than others
    .
