your doctor refused to give you valium?!! that makes so me angry. i’ll call
him right this minute. tell him to look at the ashton manual. free online
so how are you doing after your withdrawal? are you panicked, knots in your
stomach, with a sense of doom, loss of appetite, jitters, etc? you may have
to “reinstate” – get back on and slowly taper. google benzodiazepine
post-acute withdrawal syndrome. if you are really sick and your doctor
didn’t tell you how to safely withdrawal, i would sue.
Seizure are usually avoided w/ a 4 to10 day taper, as the benzo is
technically out of your system. What docs don’t understand is
“downregulation” (wearing out, or down) of the calming GABAa
neuroreceptors, which use to balance the Glutamate (excitatory)
neurotransmitters. You’ve asked your calming NT’s to work overtime for
months or years, & without benzos, they work at a fraction of their
pre-benzo ability, & why the CNS goes nuts, taking months/years to
stabilize from. Docs, wake the F up!!!
I was on Klonopin for 14 years. I saw 4 different psychiatrists (one died,
one retired, one was crazy). They all kept me on it without question. I’d
like to sue the pharmaceutical company or the FDA for continuing to approve
it’s distribution. I am still having withdrawal symptoms, worse with
activity. At the beginning, I kept putting a half or quarter tab in my
mouth to stop the symptoms. I will never take another benzo. as long as I
live. I will check out the manual. Thank you.
thanks Pastor Gregory. I’m doing very well. My taper is almost done. I
can’t wait to be benzo free and have my life back. I’m sorry you had to
suffer that much. I hope you are fully recovered. These drugs are evil and
the doctor that prescribe them too.
I fully agree. It can be done but it must be done very slowly, preferably
using a long half-life benzo like valium to taper with. Like geritocat
said, never go cold turkey or do inpatient detox where they snatch you off
these drugs abruptly. If you do, you could have a seizure and even if you
don’t, you will suffer horribly and this usually ends up in a reinstatement
because the pain is so bad until you just can’t stand it anymore. Getting
off benzos is worse than detoxing a drug like heroin.
This man looks just like the “Doctor” who was in the ward I was placed in.
They tried to convince me I was BiPolar and told them off in a respectful
manner………. so they strapped me down and injected me with some crazy
hypnotics I’m taking ativan 6 mg a day now and all my friends are terrified
of me because I am nobody right now empty inside for 7 years well I am 23
now and I refuse to take this crap anymore. Hopefully I can get out of LaLa
Land LOL I need a miracle.
Nigga have you seen the amount of drugs iv done ups and downs by the dozens
and meth lien ass bitch
Unless your talking about Flumaz treatment, then Benzo’s cannot be witdrawn
from in a Detox Center like you make out Dr. Gregory, how do you know? as
everybody responds differently and one needs to be in their own
environment.I see NO response from you, just an advert.Like
ThePastorGregory,23 years my arse, nice page and lots of activity! This
stuff is not to be taken lightly,in fact this should be removed, but for the
responses showing the industry of death as it is.Advice, watch other REAL
uploads.
HOLY S@#*!!! That’s 25 YEARS n ur doc just YANKED u off??!!! Damn Right,I
would Sue the S@#* Outta Him for MALPRACTICE… He Very Well Could Of
KILLED YOU!!! Thank God you are Still Here :) Best of Luck 2 u hun n God
Bless… Get a GOOD LAWYER!!!
Sorry that you are stuck – There is research to support that you have a 2
week period of time where you can go back and resume the taper. After 2
weeks, going back may not be beneficial. Your body needs a constant supply
during tapering, this is why it is important to do it with a doctor so you
do not run out. Good luck. You can make it if you do not give up.
@robielv I was prescribed Klonopin in ’03, then to Ativan (Lorazepam) in
’06 at 8 mg a day. So 7 total years of prescribed use. In May of 2010, I
had a 6 day voluntary detox for Pain Management pre/post spinal surgery
medications, & also my Ativan. The detox doctor tried to taper me off of
the benzo (Ativan) in 6 days, which is now known to cause horrible
neurological problems in 50% of long-term patients (not withdrawal, as the
the drug is out of the system.) Six months of absolute hell.
These doctors are unbelievable- they screw you into getting on benzos, and
then they screw you getting off. Like this guy. It’s not impossible in a
non medical environment – it is statistically safer to taper yourself. That
way, you are not a the mercy of an inept doctor cutting you off ct. As a
group, these guys are opportunistic at best and criminal at worst. There
are exceptions. Your best bet is to get your script from a dr and taper
yourself slowly with accurate tapering data.
@laaxe u said 7years im been and still 10 years 7 years u sayu wher

Don’t EVER tell ANYONE how to ‘Detox’ from Benzodiazapines. The PATIENT
Knows more than ANY ASSHOLE or NICE DR. I Know your types- when you DON’T
get your way patients Suffer and are talk down to just as your doing here
in the video.Remember YOU didn’t stand behind your patient when it became a
‘chore’ to prescribe medications that actually WORK. You sell them out with
help of yor Drug Dealers-OOPS- Cough.. “reps”. Go make money elsewhere NOT
by ruining lives you greedy LYING bastard prick.
