i uprooted my self from mid west to come live w/my boyfriend on central west coast, to find out he is LONG TIME meth addict. now he’s cruel to me & my 2 little dogs when he doesn’t have meth. he’s been addicted 20 years, he is 42 yrs old.hardly ever works. says he wants to get clean, but doesn’t try any places i got for him to call fo help!! he’s very weak minded, no self control. gives up easy, then buys more!! please help!!

He has to go in for a detox programme,but you must leave him if he is being cruel.
addicts won’t get help unless they really WANT help.
so your best bet is to leave him… especially if he’s treating you bad.
The way to help is to get the hell out of there, or at least the poor dogs if you choose to stay and deal with the idiot. I would just walk away, NOW. If he really wants you there, tell him to clean up his act, first.
Go to the doctors with him get them to refer you to a to someone who can help him if he wont go get the hell out of there no man is worth that
