I have been off Prozac for 6 months ( I quit cold turkey). BUT I never felt any ill effects from it until NOW. I think. I am very depressed, can’t sleep , Obsessive thoughts ETC. Could I be having withdrawal after having been off it this long already????

no i think the problems you had before the prozac are back to play with you
pills dont really cure depression… they try but havent you read the labels “may cause suicide” ha
well, it depends on your case on what would help cause idk your problems… have you been in therapy? you can start there. they are the ultimate guide and resource for mental illness. most of the time feelings just need to be processed. but there a million therapist so if you dont like one go see another…they can be so different

Sorry, at 6 months off the Prozac, it is not “withdrawal” symptom. What you are experiencing is the “Return of your depression” symptoms. And yes, 6 months is just about right for that, according to my Psychiatrist.
It’s time for you to go back and see your Psychiatrist, that is, if you want to not continue to live with the depression.
