    Yes, his supporters are personally and deeply invested in him. For some Obama supporters, he’s all they have.

    Theres no such thing as opiate of the masses in politics. Theres always protests somewhere, and theres always the opposing party.

    If Karl Marx was any kind of smart he would have known that religion is not always the opiate of the masses but sometimes the “cocaine” of the masses; in other words it drives them to action. History has shown both, for good and bad. In my opinion religion, or Obama for that matter, don’t subjugate or drive people to action–individual people do for themselves!
